Cinnia Curran Finfer - Confessions of a Helmetless Childhood Born second of four daughters in New York City, Cinnia attended five different grade schools in four different states. (New York, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio) As a perpetual new kid, Cinnia did her best to navigate the ever-changing playgrounds, cafeterias, classrooms, backyards and basements of a Midwestern childhood in the 1960s and 70s. Readers who lived through this time will have recognized themselves in her mishaps, Those who didn't, will wonder how she got through it! After successfully departing her parents' home, Cinnia went on to graduate from Endicott College in Beverly, MA and American University in Washington, D.C. Cinnia has spent her adult life in Southern California as a marketing communications consultant. She is married and the mother of two grown children.
